Created Satellite Sisters, a nationally-syndicated radio show, with her four real life sisters. Satellite Sisters, distributed by ABC, reached a million listeners a week and won 9 Gracie Allen Awards for Excellence in Women’s  Media.  Multi-platform extension include a website, podcast, and  book.

Wrote Elizabeth the First Wife (May 2013) , a follow-up to her debut novel Helen of Pasadena, a Los Angeles Times Bestseller nominated for Best Fiction by the Southern California Independent Booksellers.  A romantic comedy about a modern mother in transition.

Created and produces The Chaos Chronicles, a humor blog and podcast about modern motherhood.  The Chaos Chronicles was developed as a half-hour sitcom for Nickelodeon.  Lian co-wrote the pilot script.

Relationship Expert Contributes to Oprah.com as a Parenting Expert. Contributes to makinglifebetter.com as a Family Expert.  In addition,  has written regular columns for O, The Oprah Magazine and Working Mother Magazine.
